A Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the cause of poverty and injustice.
It started operating in Lebanon in 1975 with the onset of the civil war. Currently it assists Lebanese families and refugee communities through development projects, emergency relief, and advocacy in Beirut, Bekaa, North and South.
In 2020, it responded to the COVID-19 pandemic to limit the spread of the virus and reduce its impact on vulnerable children and families. It also responded to the port Explosion and delivered assistance to 169,313 beneficiaries including 67,234 children.
Programs are designed to strengthen a child-sensitive social protection system for vulnerable girls and boys, through evidence-based interventions in child protection, education, water, sanitation & hygiene (WASH), basic assistance and livelihoods. Through its Sponsorship program, it has around 18,000 children registered.
